Della Prall Wilson

Della Prall Wilson, 93, passed away at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Mo. about 6 a.m. April 3, 1971.

The daughter of Robert and Eliza Singleton Prall, she was born April 3, 1878 in Van Buren County near Keosauqua, Iowa.

On Oct. 24, 1900, she was united in marriage to Willis Victor Wilson. They made their home for many years with Della's mother, until her death. In the early 1920's they moved to their farm northeast of Milton. Her husband passed away on Oct. 22, 1946. She remained on the farm until three years ago when her health began to fail.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William, and a sister, Carried Prall Winters.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was a good neighbor and was devoted to her home which everyone will remember with its beautiful display of flowers which she loved to grow.

Funeral services were held April 5, 1971 at 1:30 p.m. at Wellborn Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert E. Phillips officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Cantril.
