Leonard Wiele

Leonard Wiele, 42, former Keosauqua Iowa Highway Patrolman, died unexpectedly at 8 p.m. March 24 at his home in Mount Pleasant. Cause of death was a heart attack.

Funeral services and burial were held near Wapello Saturday.

He was born March 3, 1929, at Grandview, the son of Cecil and Frances Buster Wiele. His marriage to Kay Yakle took place May 30, 1948, at Eliza, Ill.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Mrs. Nancy Rudolph of Mount Pleasant. Cause of death was a heart attack.
