BENJ. L. SCHRECKENGAST

Benjamin L. Schreckengast, 74, Marion, Iowa, died suddenly early Sunday morning, Mar. 14. He was born at Keosauqua, the son of the late Frank and Clara Luke Schreckengast.

He was married to Letha Else, May 29, 1918 at Ottumwa. He was employed as an electrician at Universal Engineering for many years and was a member of Mizpah Lodge.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Wayne of Lafayette, Ind. and John of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Norma Essig of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Gonah of Hemet, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Wednesday, Mar. 17 at 2 P.M. Burial in Cedar Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mary A. White officiating. Masonic rites were held at the cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Else attended the funeral of his brother-in-law, Mr. Schreckengast.
