MRS. VANCIE DRAKE

Mrs. Vanchie Drak, 77, died Saturday at 4:00 A.M. at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Mo. She woke up at her home, ill, about 12:00 and was taken to the hospital.

She was born Sept. 21, 1893 in Scotland County, the daughter of Bert and Eva Eggleston.

Survivors besides her husband, C.L. Drake, are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Arehart and Mrs. Marilee Gilman, both of Manhattan, Kansas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. S.E. Wellborn of Cantril, Iowa and a brother Harley Eggleston of Riverdale, Ill.

Services were held Monday at 2:00 at the United Methodist Church at Memphis, Mo. and burial was in the cemetery there.
