Lillie N. Bonnett

Lillie N. Bonnett, 87, died Friday morning, March 12 at the Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield after a lengthy illness.

Last rites were held Sunday, March 14, at 2:30 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home with the Rev. O.O. Van Dyne and the Rev. Dwight Bonham officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Lillie N. Bonnett was born May 10, 1883, at Collett, the daughter of Lewis Harvey and Hettie Rodibaugh Thompson.

She was married Oct. 7, 1902, to Lewis F. Bonnett, who survives. Other survivors include one son, Orville Bonnett of Birmingham; one grandson, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was the last of a family of 10 children.

Mrs. Bonnett was a member of the Birmingham W.S.C.S.
