William H. Huff

William H. Huff, 70, of Zephyrhills, Fla. formerly of Bonaparte, died Saturday, Feb. 20, at 3:30 a.m. in the Tampa Osteopathic hospital, Tampa, Fla.

He was born Oct. 17, 1900, at Bentonsport, the son of William U. and Lucy O. Gillaspie Huff.

He married Minnie Lila Rogers on April 15, 1922, at Bonaparte and she survives.

He was retired from the West Coast Grocery Co., Salem, Oregon.

Mr. Huff was a member of the First Baptist church, Bonaparte, Eagles Aerie 2272 Cedar Rapids, and Camp 1949 Modern Woodmen of America.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by one sister, Louise Pratt of DeWitt, Iowa; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

The funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the Bonaparte Baptist church. The Rev. Gerald Ogden officiated. Burial was in the Bonaparte cemetery. Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
