Mrs. Charles McMillan

Mrs. Effie E. McMillan, 94, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 2 at the Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield where she had been 4 1/2 years.

She was born June 13, 1876, at Willitts Station, the daughter of Agnes and Herman Henry. She married Charles McMillan on March 25, 1899, at Canton, Mo. He died April 3, 1955.

Surviving are two sons, Dale of Fairfield, and Neal of Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Georgia Davis of Medford, Ore.; and Mrs. Edith Yeager of Fort Dodge; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Birmingham Presbyterian Church and had lived in Birmingham 43 years before moving to the nursing home.

The service was held Friday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at Burch Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Millard Marshall. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton.
