Funeral today for well-known veterinarian who practiced in county for 35 years.

Funeral services for Dr P D Lee, Cantril veterinarian who died Tuesday afternoon of a heart attack and terminal pneumonia will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at the Cantril Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev F M James officiating. Burial in Spencer Cemetery northeast of Stockport beside the grave of his daughter Myrtle Belle Lee who died when she was 13 years old.

Dr Lee was 73 years old had been practicing in Van Buren County for 35 years. He was born in Washington County and spent practically all his life in Iowa.

He was married at Utica in 1887. Dr Lee is survived by his wife and four daughters; Mrs L W Shriver of Farmington, Mrs Will Madden of Mt Sterling, Miss Jessie Lee of Los Angeles Calif, one son, Roy Lee of Albia, one brother J Lee of Kansas, one sister Mrs Mellissa Bausman of Des Moines, 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
