Mrs Frances Lee

Mrs Frances Lee 85 died at 8 p m Saturday June 4 at her home in Cantril. She had suffered a stroke two weeks before her death.

She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Russell Bales, born Dec 31 1863. She married Perry D Lee who died 14 years ago.

Surviving are four daughters and a son, Mrs Lloyd Shriver of Ft Madison, Mrs William Johnson Keokuk, Mrs Willie Madden Mt Sterling, Mrs Larry Cleland of California and Roy Lee of Colorado.

Funeral services were held at 2 p m Tuesday in the Cantril Christian Church with the Rev John Darlington officiating. Burial was in the Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.

This came from a Bonaparte newspaper, but I don't have the name of it. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who knows anything about this family, the Lees and Bales
