Dale R. Gardner

Dale R. Gardner, son of Thomas and Ida Roher Gardner, was born March 31, 1894, near Selma and departed this life Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1970, at the age of 76. The grandson of pioneer settler in the area, his entire life was lived in the Selma community. Until recently he operated the family farm east of town where he was born.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his faithful wife, Marie; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Pottorff of Perry; two sons, Melvin of Batavia and Michael of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren, a great grandson, other relatives and friends.
