Albert Decker

Albert Decker, 79, long time Van Buren County farmer, died Friday evening, Nov.6, at the Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua, where he had been a patient since noon.

Albert L. Decker was born Jan. 21, 1891, at Nashville, Ill., the son of Edward and Louise Mueller Decker.

He was married to Mae Logan in December, 1917, at Mount Pleasant. She survives. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Nashville and had farmed in Van Buren County the past 60 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Willoughby; one grandson and two granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Klein, Maywood, Ill.

He was preceded is death by two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Monday at the Presbyterian Church in Birmingham with the Rev. Millard Marshall officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham in charge of the Burch Funeral Home, Birmingham.
