Mrs. John Shufflebarger

Mrs. Gladys Shufflebarger, 78, widow of John Shufflebarger, died Monday, Nov. 9 in a nursing home in Milan, Mo.

She was born in Cantril, the daughter of Ben and Maggie Fisher, on Dec. 1, 1891. She had lived in Cantril for several years.

Surviving are one son, James of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Margorie Anderson and Mrs. Glena Corbin, both of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Barbara Brown of Shawnee, Kan., and Mrs. Joanne Burke of Gilman City, Mo.; one brother, Robert Fisher of Pocatello, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Maple Grove Cemetery at Cantril Wednesday, Nov. 11, with the Rev. James McKean of the Christian Church officiating.
