Mrs. Guy Fry

FAIRFIELD - Mrs. Helen Ruth Fry, 71, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in serious condition three days.

Born March 10, 1899, in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of Robert and Sarah Crawford McWhirter. She married Guy W. Fry on Oct. 4, 1922. He survives. She was a lifetime resident of the county and lived eight miles southeast of Fairfield. She was a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church and the Stockport Eastern Star.

Other survivors are one son, Glen E. of Soap Lake, Wash. and six grandchildren.

The service was Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. at Stockport United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Dwight C. Bonham. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

The body was in Weston Behner
She was preceded in death by two sons and two brothers.
