Delbert Morris

Delbert Morris, 88, of 1604 South St. in Burlington died Sunday, Oct. 11, at Memorial hospital.

He was born April 7, 1882, in Van Buren county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Morris, and married Myrtle Fleming in Van Buren county, Aug. 24, 1902. She died Jan. 22, 1970.

Mr. Morris was a carpenter and contractor and a member of Seniro(err) Citizens, Workman Lodge AF&AM., Stockport, and a member of the Grace United Methodist church.

Surviving: Two daughters, Mrs. C.D. Canfield and Mrs. Ralph Hull, both of Burlington; two sons, Kenneth Morris of Burlington and Richard Morris, Santa Ana, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral was held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., Sheagren Funeral home; Rev. Henry T. Hackman; Spencer cemetery, Stockport at 1:30 p.m.
