Mrs. Earl Lathrop

Iona Edith Robinson Lathrop, age 51, died suddenly in a hospital at Pottstown, Pa., in the evening of Sept. 3. She had fallen over while at a drug store that evening. She and her husband had moved to Pottstown about the first of this year, where she did welfare work. Their home address is Star Route, Harmony and Hosnecker Rd., Pottstown, Pa. They lived near Donnellson, Iowa several years where they farmed and sold feed.

She was born near Pelican Rapids, Minn., March 26, 1919. She married Earl Lathrop Sept. 8, 1937. Surviving are her husband and two children, Mrs. Mike (Linda) Ferris of Muncie, Ind. and Larry of Wichita Falls, Tex.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Robinson of Cantril and two brothers, Ward of Cantril and Douglas of Arbela, Mo., and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday at 2:00 at the Methodist Church of Pottstown, Pa. Burial was in the cemetery behind the church there.
