Frank M. Troutman

Frank M. Troutman, 76, of Bonaparte, died Sunday, Sept. 6, at 4 a.m., in the Hainline Rest Home at Bonaparte where he had been a resident for the past six years.

He was born March 15, 1894 in Van Buren county, the son of Scott and Minnie Hinish Troutman.

He married Edith May Shriver on Dec. 10, 1914 in Missouri. She survives.

For many years he owned and operated a hardware store in Bonaparte.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one son, Lloyd Troutman of Bonaparte; two daughters, Dorothy Keck of Ottumwa and Marjorie Easter of Bonaparte; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, two brothers and three sisters.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Bonaparte United Methodist church with the Rev. Edward Maus officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte cemetery.

Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home at Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
