Mrs. Inez Hoaglin

Mrs. Inez Carson Hoagliln, 82, Hillsboro, died Aug. 10 in Henry County Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, after a lengthy illness.

She was born in 1887 in Lincoln, Ill. to William Hugh and Mary Amanda Carson.

In 1905 she was united in marriage to Harry N. Hoaglin, who survives. They had been married 64 years.

To this union were born three children, Hugh E. of Bartow, Fla., Edwin Henry of Houston, Texas and Edith, infant daughter, who died in 1910.

Surviving are her husband, Harry; two sons, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was very active in church and Sunday School work and a 50 year member of the Mission Society of the Hillsboro Baptist Church, to which he belonged. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star for 44 years.

Funeral services were held Aug. 12 at the Hillsboro Baptist Church with Rev. Levi Winfrey officiating. Mrs. Irene Hoaglin was organist and the following nephews were pallbearers: Vinton Hoaglin, Clifford Hoaglin, Donald D. Hoaglin, Leslie Hoaglin, Ervin Halbasch and Max Morris.

Burial was in Hillsboro Cemetery.
