Mrs. Ava Wollum

Mrs. Ava Parish Wollum, 81, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 4 in a Keokuk nursing home where she had been a patient for several months.

The daughter of Altheus and Florence Verback Parish, she was born march 18, 1889. She married John Clifford Wollum Feb. 28, 1913. He died last December.

Survivors are two sons, Arthur Eugene of Kahoka, Mo. and John, who lives in California; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Geraldine Koeber of Fort Madison and Mrs. Pauline Losey of Keosauqua; a sister, Mrs. Anna Huston of Kahoka; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6 in the Wilson-Gutting Funeral Home in Kahoka. Burial was in the Blackledge Cemetery near Mt. Sterling.

A memorial fund has been established.
