John Larsen

John E. Larson, 68, died in the Davis County Hospital, Bloomfield Tuesday, July 14, at 4 p.m.

He was born May 5, 1902 at Goldfield, Iowa, the son of John and Anna Christianson Larson. On March 24, 1928 he married Beulah Ingersoll. She survives him.

Also surviving are four sisters, Rose Riggs and Irene Peer of Renwick, Marie Gagestead of Hampton, and Nelle Brown of Eagle Grove; five brothers, Howard of Vincent, Clarence of Dowds, George of Goldfield, Roy of Boone, and Carrol of Clatskanie, Ore.

He was the owner and manager of the Skelly Oil Station and Bulk Plant, Cantril for 20 years. He (then) moved to Bloomfield in May of this year.

Funeral services were held Friday, july 17 at 1:30 P.M. at Cantril Methodist Church with the Rev. Herbert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton. Services in charge of Wellborn funeral home, Milton.
