Alwin K. Plank

Alwin K. Plank, 84, died at 8:20 p.m. Friday, June 19 at the Davis County Hospital after a short illness. He was superintendent of the Bonaparte School during the 1920's.

the son of William and Anna Klopfstein Plank, he was born in Davis County March 8, 1886. he was a lifelong resident of the county. He was a 50-year member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge No. 14, and a member of the Scottish Rite, and the Kaaba Shrine Temple in Davenport.

He married Beulah Grace Chaney on June 5, 1909. She died Jan. 23, of this year. He is survived by one son, Harold of Dysart; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 22 at Wagler Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Robert Allen. Burial was in the Pulaski Cemetery at Pulaski. Masonic services were held.
