Eldon V. Wright

Eldon V. Wright, 64, who farmed near Stockport, died Saturday, June 27.

He was born Feb. 2, 1906 in Colfax, Ill., to Volney and Adella Waybright Wright. On Jan. 18, 1953 he married Marguerite McKee at Fairfield. He had lived in the Stockport community for over 60 years and was a member of First Christian Church, Modern Woodmen of America, Workmen Lodge No. 634, Royal Arch Masons of Iowa, El Chanon commandery No. 28, Eastern Star, White Shrine, F.O.E. and National Rifle Association of America.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one daughter, Darlene Casagranda of Whittier, Calif.; one son, Donald of Stockport; three grandchildren and one sister, Velda Shmidt of Tempe, Ariz.

The funeral was held Monday, June 29 at Stockport Christian Church with the Rev. Howard McChurch of Keosauqua officiating. Burial with Masonic rites, were in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.

Weston Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, was in charge of arrangements.
