Mrs. Delbert Warson

The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Warson, 69, of Donnellson, was held Monday, June 29 at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Victor Engelmann officiating. Burial was in Primrose cemetery.

Mrs. Warson died suddenly at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at her home at 608 Park St. in Donnellson.

She was the daughter of Phillip A. and Martha Clunder Hohl born Jan. 23, 1901 near Primrose.

She was a lifelong resident of the Primrose, Donnellson communities and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Women's Fellowship.

She married Delbert Warson on Sept. 4, 1926 at Primrose and he survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, George of Donnellson rural route; one daughter, Mrs. Laila Ulm of Fort Madison; one brother, Willis Hohl of Donnellson; one sister, A.P. Meta Werner of Fort Madison; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Martin.

Miller's Home for Funerals in Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.
