Sgt. Jerry Guy Giberson

The funeral service for Army Sgt. Jerry Guy Giberson of Donnellson was held Monday, June 29 at 4 p.m. in Miller's Home for Funerals in Donnellson. The Rev. C.C. Swalwell of Farmington officiated. Burial was in Oakland cemetery at Vincennes.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Giberson of Donnellson, he was killed June 20, in Vietnam by a booby trap. He entered the service in March 1969, and had been in Vietnam since March of this year.

Other survivors include two brothers, Jim of Fairfield, and Jay at home; a sister, Janet at home; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Jake Thomson of Fairfield and Mrs. Mona Cryer of South Wales.
