Guy Samson

Guy Samson, 81, of Denver, Colo., died suddenly Monday at his home.

He was born July 16, 1888, in Lewis, Iowa, and spent his childhood there.

He married Mary Beard on Oct. 4, 1911, at Ottumwa and she survives. He formerly lived at Mt. Hamill, Farmington, Fort Madison and Fairfield.

He was a laborer and a musician. Mr. Samson was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Masonic lodge.

Surviving in addition to his wife; One son, Willard Samson of Greeley, Colo.; and one sister, Vesta Russ of Lewis, Iowa.

The funeral service was held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Miller's Home for Funerals, Donnellson, with the Rev. Kenneth Harden officiating. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery.
