Clarence Lambert

Clarence Lambert, 74, died at Selma Monday, April 27 at 3:20 p.m. He had spent most of his life in the Selma and Eldon communities.

Born June 13, 1895 in Macon County, Mo., he was the son of Frank and Katherine Doud Lambert. He was an employe of the Rock Island Railroad for 30 years and had farmed around Selma. He was a member of the Eldon Christian Church. He married Elizabeth Hawker on June 7, 1916. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Paul of Selma and Hal of Council Bluffs; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Kinnamon Jr. of Bloomfield; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Miss Janet Lambert of Wichita, Kans. and Mrs. Carried Nupp of Eldon.

The services were held Wednesday, April 29 at 2 p.m. at Campbell Funeral home with the Rev. Earl Menning in charge. Burial was in Eldon Cemetery.
