Richard Arch Bell

Richard Arch Bell, 54, of Keosauqua, died Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospitay(err) where he had been a patient since March 16.

He was born June 20, 1915, at Bloomfield, the son of William and Blanche King Bell. Feb. 3, 1945, he married Mary Ellen Scotton at Keosauqua. Mr. Bell was graduated from Bloomfield high school and served in the Navy 2 years. He was employed by Philco-Ford of Fairfield, he was a member of the American Legion and the Sports club.

Surviving are his wife, his mother; a sister, Mrs. Nadine Blackwell, Bloomfield; and a brother, Bud Bell of Danville.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Catcott Funeral Home with the Rev. Millard Marshall officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
