Lowell R. Tyler

Lowell R. Tyler of Wayne City, Ill. died at 6:30 Friday morning, Feb. 13 at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital. He was 73 years old.

Funeral services for Mr. Tyler were held at 2 P.M. Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City. The Rev. Joe Bob Pierce officiated. Burial was in Thomason Cemetery at Wayne City.

Mr. Tyler was born in Wayne City, Ill. July 26, 1896. His parents were E.B and Agnes Thomason Tyler.

He was married to Helen Kelley who preceded him in death in 1921.

In 1947, he married Lillie Hamlett, who died in 1965.

Mr. Tyler is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Robertson; one stepson, Arthur Hamlett of Mt. Sterling, Iowa; two brothers; one sister, and two grandchildren.
