Myrtle Morris

Mrs. Myrtle M. Morris, 86, 1605 South, Burlington, died Thursday, Jan. 22, at Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.

Mrs. Morris was born Dec. 8, 1883, in Van Buren County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Fleming.

She was married to Delbert Morris in Van Buren County Aug. 24, 1902.

They were former residents of the Stockport area before moving to Burlington in 1924.

Mrs. Morris was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Miriam Circle, Senior Citizens and Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. C.D. Canfield and Mrs. Ralph Hull, both of Burlington; two sons, Kenneth Morris, Burlington, and Richard Morris, Santa Ana, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Sheagren Funeral Home, the Rev. Henry T. Hackman, officiating. Burial was in Spencer Cemetery, Stockport.
