Elzie E. Marshall

Elzie E. Marshall, 68, of Farmington, died Monday, Jan. 12, at 8:15 a.m. in the Golden Age Nursing Home, Keokuk, after a long illness.

He was born March 28, 1901 at Farmington, the son of William and Mary Jane Narry Marshall.

A retired farmer, he spent his entire life in the Farmington area.

Surviving are two brothers - James E. Munford, Victor Munford, both of Farmington; four sisters, Mrs. Forrest (Reta) Rider of Farmington; Mrs. Dale (Ruth) Jannings of Keokuk, Mrs. Louis (Madge) Carter of Arlington, Ia., and Mrs. Otis (Vera) Shriver of Fort Madison.

He was preceded in death by one son, four brothers and two sisters.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m. in Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington with the Elder Larry Jannings of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial was in Anson cemetery, south of Farmington.
