Clyde M. Losey

Clyde Mills Losey, 66, died in Van Buren County hospital at Keosauqua at 2 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26. he suffered a stroke at the Denniston-Partridge Lumber Co., Milton, Wednesday.

A native of Bloomfield, Mr. Losey was born March 16, 1903, the son of Sherman and Anna Mills Losey. He was married to Pauline Wollam at Cantril on March 26, 1930.

Mr. Losey was a member of the Christian church and of the Izaak Walton league.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Elwood Losey Mason City and Marvin Losey of Virginia, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Kinzer of Monmouth, Ill; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held at the Keosauqua Christian Church, where a memorial to Mr. Losey has been established, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27. The Rev. Howard McPeak officiated. Burial was in Fellows cemetery.
