Mrs. John Loomis

Mrs. May Loomis, Eldon, 92, died at Kirk Nursing Home in Agency, at 5:40 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 20.

She was born June 21, 1877 in Davis County, to Gabriel and Elizabeth Hemm Schlotter. She had spent most of her life in Van Buren County. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Loomis in 1935.

Surviving are two sons, Glen of Keosauqua and Stanley of Fairfield; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The service was Tuesday, at 1:30 P.M. at Campbell Funeral Home, Eldon, with the rev. Ned Gillum officiating. Burial was in Iowaville Cemetery, Selma.
