Everett Elliot

Everett Elliott, 69, owner and manager of Starlite Café and Motel at Cantril since 1958, died Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 4 a.m. at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago.

He was born May 12, 1900. His wife, Laura Clark Elliott, died May 4, 1962.

Survivors include two brothers, Edward of Champaign, Ill., and Fred Jr. of Taylorville, Ill., and two sisters, Irene McIntire of Wheeling, Ill. and Inez Seybert of Decatur, Ill.

The funeral was held Friday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. at a funeral home in Taylorville, Ill.
