Donel K. Nedrow

Donel K. Nedrow, 83, died of a heart attack about 11:15 A.M. Saturday, near his home south of Selma.

He was en route to Keosauqua for a routine medical checkup and was pronounced dead on arrival at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born near Selma, Feb. 22, 1886, and had farmed in the area most of his life. He was married to Ethel Cudworth, who died in 1953.

Surviving are three sons, John of St. Louis, Mo., and Raymond and Ralph, both of Cedar Rapids, and 10 grandchildren, including Patty and Keith Nedrow, who lived with him.

The funeral was Tuesday at 2 P.M. at Pedrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Willis Grant, pastor of Selma United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Iowaville Cemetery.
