Maude T. Franklin

The funeral for Mrs. Maude T. Franklin, 87, a former longtime Eldon resident who died at Oxford Junction Thursday morning, was Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home cnducted(err) by the rev. Ronald Abbas. Burial was in Eldon Cemetery.

Mrs. Franklin was born in Van Buren County Jan. 1, 1882, the daughter of Roy and Maude Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, in 1945.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Carr of Ottumwa and Mrs. Ralph Campbell of North Liberty; one son, Gordon of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
