Mrs. Oscar Tedrow

Ilene Tedrow, 31, formerly of Douds and Lebanon, died early Thursday, July 3 at her home near Downing, Mo. Death was due to a sudden illness.

The daughter of Emery and Mildred Stull Fickel, she was born near Eldon, Nov. 17, 1937. She graduated from Batavia High School in 1955. She was a past worthy advisor of the Eldon Rainbow Assembly and a member of Arbor Vitae Chapter No. 327, OES, and Batavia United Methodist Church.

On Oct. 16, 1955, she was married to Oscar A. Tedrow. They lived on a farm near Lebanon until moving to their present home in 1968.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Linda; three sons, Danny, Dale and Darrell, all at home; her parents of Fairfield; and a grandmother, Mrs. Della Fickel of Fairfield.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 6 at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds. The Rev. Earl Erb of Prairie City, former Batavia pastor, officiated. Burial was in Mount Moriah Cemetery, north of Douds.
