Clarence Oliver Heath

Clarence Oliver Heath, 76, of Farmington RFD, died Sunday, June 15, at 9:25 P.M. in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua. He had been a patient there 2 days following a lengthy illness.

He was born April 20, 1893 near Keosauqua, the son of Harry and Sadie Abernathy Heath.

His marriage to Bessie Rude took place in 1935 in Scotland County, Missouri. She preceded him in death.

He spent most of his life near Farmington in the Acasto, Mo. community. He was a farmer and a salesman.

Mr. Heath was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Surviving 2 daughters: Mrs. George (Maurine) Gould of Earlville, Ill. and Mrs. Chris (Cleda) Fox Seattle, Washington, and a step-daughter, Martha Coffman; one sister, Mrs. E. Gilbert Bell of Farmington; and 4 grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service was Wednesday, Jun3 18, at 2 p.m. in the Assembly of God Church, Farmington, with the Rev. Bruce Tonkinson officiating. Burial was in Christy Cemetery at Acasto, Mo.

Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
