GEORGE EDWARDS

Birmingham - George W. Edwards, 86, died Monday, June 9, at Moore Nursing Home, Stockport, after a seven year illness.

A native of Van Buren County, Mr. Edwards was born Dec. 15, 1882, the son of Robert and Susan Funk Edwards. He married Jennie Wise on Oct. 1, 1908. She died Feb. 20, 1941, and on April 1, 1942, Mr. Edwards was married to Arvilla Donald Keener.

Surviving are the wife; daughters, Mrs. Betty Lou Ollon of Wright and Mrs. Pauline Crawford of Birmingham, and one grandson.

The body is at the Burch Funeral Home, Birmingham.
