Dewey Naumann

Dewey Naumann, 71, Ottumwa, died Monday, June 16, at 10:30 P.M. at his home on Ottumwa Rte. 2. A retired farmer, he was employed by Huber Feed Store.

The son of Adam and Minnie Hentzel Naumann, he was born at Farmington Aug. 23, 1897. He had been an Ottumwa resident 39 years.

His marriage to Eddalee Cartnal took place in Fairfield on Dec. 24, 1924. She survives as do 2 sons, Gary of Ottumwa, and Wayne of Monsey, N.Y.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Achsa Keeler of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Vina Meyer of Wever; and one brother, Dr. Aura Miller of Louisville, Ky. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

The body is at Jay Funeral Home, Ottumwa, awaiting completion of arrangements.
