Joseph Newbold

Joseph W. Newbold, 66, Ocala, Fla., former Keosauqua and Van Buren County attorney, died Saturday night, May 3, following, surgery.

The son of Willis B. and Emily Newbold, he was born July 13, 1902, at Farmington. He was married to Barbara Therme.

Mr. and Mrs. Newbold moved to Florida several years ago and he was employed as a bookkeeper for Citrus Grove Co.

Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Nancy, at home; two brothers, Cyrus of Boone and Willis Jr. of Alabama; and two sisters, Miss Katheryn Newbold of New York and Mrs. Ruth Berg of Wisconsin.

Funeral services and burial were held in Ocala on Tuesday.
