Mrs. Dora Hendricks

Mrs. Dora Hendricks, 82, died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, May 10 at Davis County Hospital at Bloomfield.

The daughter of Fernando and Eva Sanderson Hargrove, she was born in Davis County Aug. 24, 1886. She was a lifelong resident of Davis County and was affiliated with Pulaski Christian Church.

She married Will Hendricks Aug. 30, 1904 in Keosauqua. He survives along with two sons, Donald and Dale, both of Bloomfield; one daughter, Pauline Smart of Ottumwa; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Gifford Hargrove of Keosauqua; one sister, Flora Hendricks of Winterset; one half-sister, Ruth Ensminger of Boswell, Ind.; and four half-brothers, Herman Trachsel of Illinois, Paul Trachsel of Milton and Earl Trachsel of Pulaski.

The service was held Tuesday, May 13 at Troy United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial was in Troy Cemetery.
