Thad M. Elliott

Mr. Thad M. Elliott, 88, was born Aug. 4, 1880 at Winchester, Iowa, the son of Frank and Priscilla Huber Elliott, who were also born at Winchester. He passed away at his home at LaPorte, Colo. on April 12.

He had lived in the area of LaPorte since 1904. He was a member of LaPorte Presbyterian Church and the Plumbers Union No. 451. He retired in 1960.

He married Lula Boyer Aug. 31, 1904 at Vernon, Iowa. She died Aug. 15, 1968.

He is survived by one daughter and two sons, Ms. J.M. (Esther) Jones of Denver, Colo., Bruce Elliott, the younger son, of Wasilla, Alaska. A brother, F.S. Elliott, lives at Keosauqua, Iowa.
