Ernest E. Dyer

Ernest E. Dyer, 73, of Farmington RR 2, died Sunday, April 20 at 5:45 a.m. in the V.A. hospital at Iowa City.

He was born Sept. 2, 1895 in Morgan county, Ill., the son of John A. and Theresa Ann Daniels Dyer.

He lived in Clark County, Missouri since 1926 and was a member of the Anson Community church.

He married Ruth E. Curtis on May 24, 1917 at Jacksonville, Ill. and she survives.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two sons, Robert of Chandler, Ariz. and Clifford of Greeley, Colo.; and four grandchildren.

He was the youngest and last of a family of 10 children having been preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 22 at 2 p.m. in the Anson Community church with the Rev. J. Bryan Jones of Farmington officiating. Burial was in Anson cemetery.

Karle-Shaffer Funeral Home, Kahoka, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.

There will be a memorial fund for the Cancer Crusade.
