William W. Holland

William Ward Holland, who spent his early life in Milton, died at his home in Hardy, Ark. March 18 at the age of 67.

He leaves his widow, Millie; a sister, Susie Holland of Chariton; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Wade of Ohio; three granddaughters; and in the Milton area, two cousins, John R. Holland and Glen Hargrove. A brother, Charles L. Holland of Ottumwa, died just six months before.

Only a few days before his death he had accepted an invitation to serve as master of ceremonies at the upcoming annual banquet of the Alumni Association of Milton and Fox Valley High Schools.

He retired about a year ago from his position with the Boeing Company in Wichita, Kansas, where he had lived for many years.
