Mrs. Adaline Brewster

Mrs. Adaline Brewster, 89, of Keosauqua, died about 11:45 A.M., Tuesday, March 25 in the Van Buren Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 9, 1880 near Tennessee, Illinois, the daughter of H.A. and Alice Roberts Chipman. She was married on Feb. 22, 1900 to Harvey Brewster. He died May 18, 1942. They farmed near Keosauqua many years later moving to Keosauqua.

She was a member of the United Methodist church, a 50 year member of Lynds Chapter Order of Eastern Star, a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Keosauqua and member of the Royal neighbors of America.

Only nephews survive.

Services will be held Thursday, Mar. 27 at 2:00 P.M. in the Keosauqua Methodist Church. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery.
