Mrs. Clara Anderson

Mrs. Clara Anderson, 80, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at the Hainline Rest Home at Bonaparte.

A former resident of Davenport, she had lived at Hillsboro for six years before entering the rest home. Mrs. Anderson was born in Iowa, at Morris, Feb. 6, 1889, the daughter of George and Vi Ann Day. She was married to Celestine Boitscha in 1903 and later to Wallace Anderson.

Survivors include a son, Alex Boitscha of Hillsboro and a half-brother, William Varner of Ottumwa.

Services were held Tuesday evening, April 1 at 7:30 at the Beatty Chapel, Mt. Pleasant. The Rev. James Thomson officiated. A committal service was held at 2:30 Wednesday, April 2 in Greenview Memorial Garden, East Moline, Illinois.
