Marie B. Corry

Miss Marie B. Corry, 89, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 10, at Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Born Oct. 6, 1879, at Birmingham, she was the daughter of James and Laura Haitt(Hiatt) Corry. Survivors include several nephews.

Miss Corry was a member of Birmingham Presbyterian Church and the PWO. She was a member of the original Birmingham Library Board, serving as treasurer for many years. She also taught the Star Sunday School class several years. She was a graduate of Wolfs Academy and Parsons College.

The funeral services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Burch Funeral Home, with the Rev. Millard Marshall officiating. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham.
