MRS. ARTHUR CONRAD

Mrs. Bertha Conrad of Cantril, resident of the Moore Nursing Home at Stockport, died about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

The daughter of William Henry and Anna Marie Wier Warren, she was born Feb. 8, 1891, at Conmel, Ireland. She came to the United States in 1924. She was married Feb. 8, 1925, to Arthur Conrad of Cantril. He died October 28, 1964.

Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Howell of Chatsworth, Ill. and Grace Graber of Fairfield; one son, John of Aroma Park, Ill.; one siter(sister), Ethel Lait of England; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua with burial in Fellows Cemetery at Keosauqua. Rev. Howard McPeak of the Keosauqua Christian Church was in charge.
