John McCullough

John Guy McCullough, 75, died at his home at 6:30 A.M. Thursday, Jan. 2, in Bloomfield.

He was a farmer and the son of Samuel and Minnie Wisdom McCullough, born in Missouri Oct. 30, 1893. He spent most of his life in Davis and Van Buren counties and was affiliated with the Cantril Masonic Lodge.

He married Oma Dabney in 1913. She preceded him in death. He married Nellie Prosser on Dec. 14, 1957. She survives as do three daughters, Helen Thompson of Bloomfield, Nolda Jacobs of Fremont and Mary Saxton of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Ronald with the U.S. Navy, submarine division; two brothers Sam of North Bend, Ore.; and Ray of Downing, Mo.; one sister, Edna Cozad of Albany, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Sunday at Wagler Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with the Rev. Robert Allen of Bloomfield Christian church officiating. Burial was in Savannah Cemetery at Savannah. Masonic services were conducted at the grave.
