Cephas R. Cronin

Cephas R. Cronin, 78, of Revere, Mo. died suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 5:46 p.m. in St. Joseph hospital, Keokuk, where he had been a patient about a day.

He was born May 2, 1890, in Clark County, Missouri, the son of Cephas and Nancy Gardner Cronin, and spent his entire life in that area.

He married Dora Peacock on Feb. 19, 1918 at Kahoka, Mo. She died Aug. 20, 1961.

Mr. Cronin was a W.W. I veteran and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Coffin of Farmington, and Mrs. Florence Courtney of Lebanon, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sisters and one half-brother.

The funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Farmington Methodist church with the Rev. Harold Schirm officiating. Burial was in Revere cemetery. Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
