WALTER MADDEN

Walter Madden, about 85 of Des Moines, a native of Van Buren County, died December 29, funeral and burial were at Des Moines.

He was the son of Henry and Isa Pettit Madden, born near Mt. Sterling. He is survived by his wife, a sons Dan Madden in New Jersey, a daughter, Mrs. Samuel Lee of Lubbock, Texas and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Ray Fitzgerald and Mrs. Walter Bennett of Mt. Sterling are cousins.
